Hi, thanks for your review. We are located at the top of ShiZhao, where surrounded by tea plantations and beautiful mountains view. Our owner has over 30 years of tea making experience and we produce the famous high mountain oolong tea here. Besides that, there are 5 different walking trails available nearby for exploration. Sunrise can be watched at the back of our B&B with 30-40 minutes walk. Sunset, sea of cloud, star gazing, etc can be watched at the rooftop of Aliscenery or just walk out from traditional wooden courtyard house and you will get to enjoy the great view. Hi Bob, first of all we are regret for what you had experienced. From what you mentioned, we assume that you were staying at the traditional wooden courtyard house and the area that you mentioned is actually the seating area/common area for everyone. We are very much concerned about the volume as it is extremely silent at night living in the mountain area, hence we will always advise all to keep their volume down after 9pm. If you are unsure about your reservation, you can always write in to confirm with us. We are more than happy to explain further and send you reference photos. Yup, free pick up service is available once per day after 3pm at ShiZhao or Fenchihu bus station if you are taking public transport. We are just 10-15 minutes away from both locations. Hi Jerlyn, thanks for your compliment. Indeed we put in a lot of efforts in keeping the tidiness and cleanliness of the room. Bed sheets and linen changing, floor vacuuming, mopping, etc are done on daily basis to ensure the accommodation quality. Come back and have oolong tea with us next time!

The new building, Aliscenery has been operating for four years and we do maintenance from time to time in order to keep the good condition of the building. Yes, there is electric heating pad in the room, heater and electric toilet seat is available in the bathroom to keep you warm. Additional electric can be provided in the room upon request. Hotpot dinner can be reserved in advance and the latest time for booking is 4pm on your arrival day. Tea tasting session will start after dinner around 7pm. The owner has over 30 years of tea making experience. It's definitely home-grown high mountain oolong tea that you don't want to miss trying it. All rooms in the new building have either mountains view or tea plantations view or both, depending on the facing direction of the room. If you're the photo lover, rooftop is the best place for full panorama view. Appreciate your effort in writing this useful review for everyone and we hope to see you next time!

Yup, the best place for the panorama view is definitely the rooftop of Aliscenery. Sunset, sea of cloud, blue sky, star gazing at night, etc can all be viewed here. Free pick up/drop off service is available once daily after 3pm at ShiZhao or Fenchihu bus stop if you are taking public transport. Electric heating pad is available. Even though our location is slightly remote, but it definitely worth your time travelling here to enjoy the great fresh air, breathtaking views, relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. We're actually located at the top of ShiZhao where surrounded by tea plantations and beautiful mountains view. And we are just 15 minutes drive from Fenchihu or 40 minutes away from Alishan Recreational Area. Besides that, there are also five different walking trails available nearby to walk around. For next visit, you may consider coming in different seasons, say mid February - March for sakura in ShiZhao / Alishan Recreational Area, April for fireflies, etc. Or you may also consider taking the historic little train from Chiayi to Fenchihu train station. We always try our best to help with the travel itinerary, recommended chartered service, etc. We are sure it is such an enjoyment to have hotpot dinner with the weather/temperature here. Our hotpot is prepared daily with fresh ingredients inclusive of seasonal highland vegetables, sliced meat, seafood, etc. Pre-reservation of dinner are required or latest reservation by 16:00 on the same day when you check in. Actually there is no restriction of time for shower as there is still hot water available between 10pm to 6.30am next morning but the hot water is just a bit slow/weak. Anyway we are more than happy to see you here again for chit chat or have a cup of high mountain oolong tea!

Glad that you enjoy the view and love our room. As for the location, if you're driving on your own, you may just use the GPS to search Aliscenery / Yunmingi to reach here. Need not to worry, if you really have difficulty finding the location, we are more than happy to provide guidance on how to drive here. Besides that, we do provide free pick up service after 3pm at ShiZhao / Fenchihu for guests who are taking public transport.
