"High-end and full-service hotel. Great breakfast, helpful staff and nice amenities like swimming pool, sauna, gym and even optional self-service laundry. Hotel shuttle to MRT station and free welcome drink are a nice plus."

"We were put on the 5th Flr, at first we thought this room will be noisy because it’s close to the roadside, but to our surprise the room was relatively sound proof so the road noise didn’t affect our sleep. And you got try the pork chop at the Japonli restaurant, it’s tasty and no chewy. Very happy with our 5days stay."

"We booked this city centre hotel to be close to the main railway station, but we were worried about traffic noise keeping us awake…. No need! Even with our room facing the street on the 8th floor, the room was very quiet. We booked a superior triple. Plenty space for 3. The only ‘negative’ was breakfast. The food is targeted at domestic travellers only, so nothing western on the buffet other than toast and jam."

"I usually don’t write long reviews but I wanted to show my gratitude for Cosmos Hotel Taipei’s excellent services in assisting me to handle a refund process. We had to change our booking to check out earlier because of the typhoon. The hotel staff showed great care and professionalism, and agreed to waive the penalty for changing my reservation. They patiently explained the procedure and promptly provided all requested information to Expedia. Special thanks goes to a member at the front desk who has helped me along this process! Without her assistance, I am probably still in the loophole of dealing with the booking site to initiate such request. Cosmos Hotel shows me a perfect example of genuine care and excellence in servicing clients."

"As a frequent visitor to Taipei, Illume is almost always my hotel choice. Rooms are generous in size, but not over appointed. Staff is helpful, but usually points you to the suite of automated services features - chatbot, self-checkin and out. The location is excellent, the fitness center is excellent and there are lots of places nearby for great coffee and food... plus a handy 7-11 in the hotel complex. Really everything you could possible need."
