"The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was excellent for walking the old town, plenty of close restaurants and a grocery store. It is a central location for hiking in the area. There was air conditioning and a safe which we appreciated. Overall, our stay was ok but the rooms are smaller than we expected and the carpeting was quite dated and needs replacement."

"The hotel is situated just by the Munster in the old town and couldn’t be better placed. The hotel is beautiful and very old but well maintained. It has so much character. There was fresh fruit in the room on arrival. The staff were very cheerful and helpful and a total pleasure. The breakfast in the attached restaurant was superb. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to visit it again."

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and taking the train into Freiburg was very easy and made our time lass stressful as we didn't need to worry about driving. "Room was clean and in order. Location is accesible to public transpiration . Kitchen was ok but there’s a pungent smell when I opened the dishwasher . There’s only 1 small garbage can in the toilet, I wish there was another in main room . The main door can be opened even without entering a code to open, I found this unsafe because anyone can gain access inside the property. "
