"We had a river viewing room which is very spacious with great bed and large bathroom with bath. Modern design well maintained and very comfortable. Hotel is the best part of the town close to the major restaurants and an easy walk to both tram stops and the MCG. Have stayed here before and again."

"Such a delight to stay in a heritage hotel with beautiful furnishings in spacious, character rooms. Loved the feature light fitting, layered curtains, and always a bonus to have a bath tub. The Deluxe room is spacious with a sitting area perfect for some work on the go. The formal breakfast service with wonderful wait staff added to the romance of the stay."

"Nice place to stay if you love the cbd and the surrounding things to do within the cbd. I walked pretty much everywhere (outskirts as well) and the city is just a wonderful things to experience from outside (not in a car). The location of hotel is great because the tram is literally right across the street while travel supplies (toiletries) is found in a store about a block away (less than a 10 minute walk). Bars and restaurants are close by too."
