I dragged my two little one and my tired body to this hotel after a long day at work and a flight. With so much high expectations to have a wonderful weekend away.
At check in, I was informed that my reservation only comes with 1 breakfast because there is only 1 adult, but my kids will have to pay 2 children breakfast. I explained my booking through Hotel.com did not indicate that it is only 1 breakfast, and that I am willing to pay for the extra child but I should have 2 breakfast which I will share with 1 of my son. Then I was told that the hotel does not care who I booked with and what I can see through that platform, they only cares about the reservation sent to them. Fair enough, after wasting more time trying to dig out the physical reservation the hotel received, I was told, sorry because I didn't put down 2 adults and 2 children, I can only get 1 breakfast. I failed to understand her logic and demanded to have 2 breakfasts, and was informed that she will ask her manager to come and "deal" with me! What an insult! I felt like I was begging to have a room in this hotel, and to be approved by this front desk girl.
Not to mention all other ridiculous things:
- was told breakfast is from 6:30-7:30am!!!
- room not ready for checkin beyond 4pm (my friends experience)
- room smells like paint
- wifi is NOT free
A beautifully designed hotel without proper service. Not putting customers at heart at all!
