「Our first time at The Green Man and we will be returning. Had a great time, accommodation and food excellent. They also have a wonderful front of house called Amanda who was great fun and extremally helpful.」

Charlotte was incredibly informative and passionate in answering our local questions of which her knowledge was invaluable to us. Lovely room we had, being hyper critical it is an old building so the bathroom layout meant you couldn't really have a shower, so bathing it was instead. Had a wonderful stay, highly recommended. 「Interesting rambling hotel built into the hillside, resulting in multiple steps up to the bedrooms. Excellent restaurant and friendly and helpful staff. Minor niggles on the plumbing & shower: the cold pipe appear to be bundled with the hot and produces tepid water unless run for a long time - not ideal in a heatwave. The soap dispensers are about head level that make them awkward to operate. A lower location would be better. No basket or shelf in the shower for flannel or own soap or shampoo.」

「We have stayed here before and it is lovely comfortable accommodation. You receive a breakfast bag each day and the fridge is stocked with milk and water. There are also plenty of teabags, coffee and biscuits provided. You have everything you need for a relaxing stay.」

Lighting rather dim: bathroom possibly requires new fluorescent bulb: in bedroom, one of the three bulbs u/s so needs replscing and LHS bedside light bulb was quite dusty. Ligting ptroblem reported to management who took note and said they would sort asap. 」
