「August 25 stay.First time in Ross. Hotel ideally placed for walk into town and also walk down to river but this walk steep so take your time.Hotel I gave excellent, nothing to complain about stay in king size bedroom.Staff helpful and pleasant. What else do you want for a short stay.」

「Lovely, well equipped property in beautiful, peaceful location, but only short drive to pubs for good food and nearby Monmouth - lovely town with great selection of supermarkets and individual shops and eateries. Beware the 2 speed bumps on your final approach to the property. Would definitely stay here again. 」

「Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.」

「Super accommodation. The staff are ultra attentive and the food is first class. Beautiful part of the world to stay in but maybe a little remote for some. Only slight drawback was we were housed in the ground floor room of the boathouse and the noise of people walking around in the room above is very loud. If they got up in the night it wakes you up.」

「We had a one night stay at Torlands and wish we could have stayed longer! The host met us on arrival for check in and showed us to our room. Everything was explained to us and we felt very welcome straight away. The room was very spacious and clean with very modern touches. The bathroom was excellent and also very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast the next morning with a fantastic selection of hot and cold items. We very much look forward to our next stay here. 」

「We had a fantastic stay. We felt so looked after by all staff. We were particularly impressed with the young man who showed us to our room (despite a small key issue) and served us at breakfast - he was so polite and professional, he's an asset to the business! The room had everything we could need during our stay - comfy beds, nice toiletries provided in the bathroom and the biggest biscoffs I've ever seen! I would definitely recommend Creates to anyone visiting Monmouth! <3」
