「We had a friendly welcome from Jane and her staff. The room was comfortable and breakfast was excellent. The pub closed early on Sunday night, so we had to go elsewhere for food, but it meant a very peaceful night. Strongly recommended!」

The finishings on the building was amazing and consistent throughout and was echoed by the quality at every angle, from the welcome, to food, to service, you name it. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere and a lovely place to be. 「What a great find! Visiting the area for a gig & decided to have 2 nights away. The Great House was a last minute booking but what a wonderful place! Idylic riverside setting in a small village with lovely bar & restaurant. Staff were all very friendly, from the lady who greeted us at reception & upgraded our room to the fabulous housekeeping - the lady with the ted hair deserves a special mention as we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her!!!
