"Great stay"

"This is a beautiful historic hotel with wonderful staff. I stay here often and highly recommend."

"Great Hotel. Rooms were newly decorated and comfortable. Evening meal and breakfast were both excellent. We really enjoyed our one night stay."

"We booked a room for one of our engineers. When he arrived they were full booked and had no rooms available for our employee. They didn’t offer to help find him another hotel. We called them with the booking reference same one our employee had shown and still no room at the inn. Totality disappointed with the staff and hotel"

"Well worth a visit for good food and nice staff"

"Always an exceptional stay. The sleeping rooms are clean with comfortable beds and well appointed. The restaurant food is very good with friendly service."

"Excellent hotel. Lovely pool and gym facilities. All staff very helpful. Restaurant was the only disappointment."

"Well, when you pay a price beginning with a 4, you expect value for money! This was a poor standard hotel, I hear the hotel inspector graded it 2/5, I think he was generous! Concierge were great, check in easy, door to the room, handle cane off in my hand! Single glazing windows in the room, thought the birds were in my room upon entry, radiators screaming air in them, awful snowy tv picture and insulted with the old "it's the weather" excuse when reported, wonder what they say in summer! "Comfy bed , nice restaurant and really helpful staff"

"Very pleasant staff. Both in reception as well as at the breakfast!"

"The copper castle was an amazing place to stay, clean, comfortable, staff were amazing, children loved the animals and collecting egg's from the chickens in the morning. Owner's were very helpful and accommodating, will definitely be coming back for another stay."

"Clean and spacious hotel room but the nightclub is very loud at night"

"great location in the outskirts of Reading (costa cafe on the one side, restaurant on the other side), in good condition, helpful reception, big + clean room"

"Lovely food"

"I stayed here to attend a wedding nearby. The staff helped me locate the property (wedding goers had parked in front of the sign and hidden it). I had booked a single room and it was ideal for one person. Shower room spacious and worked well."

"Needed a nice, affordable place close to Heathrow for our last night in UK, and this place turned out great. Have stayed here twice now"
