「Staff were friendly and excellent and location is what we expected and room and comfort was very good. The only thing we were not too happy was the free drink with the meal which was house wine as we had RED and WHITE which were not very good as we did express that to the staff there? Also There were no BRANDY in the evening on Saturday around 9pm?」

「The room was clean and comfortable, not at all noisy. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and very reasonably priced. The team at the Four Horseshoes were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good too, large portions and a big pot of tea. We had a really relaxing break.」

「It is very easy to get into Bury St Edmunds without a car, as the bus stop for the 84,86 service is next to the Cadogan Arms.with buses every 30 minutes. The staff are all very helpful and polite too. Plus such very comfy mattresses and good sized en-suite bathroom. The food is very good and very well presented too. Would I use the Cadogan Arms again certainly. 」

「We stayed at Caistor Hall as we were going to a wedding reception nearby. We received a warm welcome when we checked in. The room itself was very large with a good modern bathroom, although to get the shower at a reasonable temperature was a work of art - you need to be patient that the hot water will eventually come! The decor is a little old fashioned but in keeping with the building. Breakfast, included in the room rate, was excellent with a good choice available. We would definitely stay...

「Spacious, well equipped rooms. Good selection of options on Restaurant menu. Also great value for money. Only slight negative was the bed was quite hard compared to our preferences and the pillows were too thin providing limited support for a side sleeper. 」

「set in beautiful countryside. very quiet, room was very comfortable with a wonderful view, and we had a shared kitchen with another room, with microwave, fridge, in which we put some cold items for the next day. hosts were wonderful, very helpful in recommending somewhere to eat that 1st night, the local pub was lovely and great food. and the breakfast that we had the following morning was exceptional, plenty of safe parking. would highly recommend」

「We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. 」
