「The village is delightful and has a fascinating history well worth the visit. The hotel is full of character but is in need of a good deal of work if it is going to cater for tourists otherwise it will fall into disrepair and not be worth considering. Carpets need replacing, rooms need a thorough cleaning, woodwork, like doors and windows, are in need of attention & holes in the walls should be addressed. 「A fabulous pub / hotel! The staff were super friendly but very professional. The room we had was exceptional - a family room with double bed and 2 bunk beds (one of which housed our adult daughter without any problem). The new interior decorations were gorgeous - Pooky lights, artwork on the walls and corridors etc. Breakfast was magnificent (full vegetarian) and the bar in the evening was great with good choice of drinks and background music at the right level. 「The hotel is located at the high street and a supermarket is just at the opposite. It is very convenience. The hotel interior is quite old and has traffic noise at night.」

「Lovely stop on the way to Cornwall. Gorgeously comfortable bed and linen. We arrived exhausted from a long transatlantic flight with 2 cats and the owner was so kind to us. She saved our bacon as we honestly could not have driven further! Superb breakfast and we will definitely return 💜」

「Great pub super location but the restaurant part needs looking at had English breakfast twice and it started at 8am we sat down at 8.05 and the bacon, sausage, hash brown were rock hard and a lot of people were asking for yogurt but were told sorry but delivery was late (3 days late) Would we go again.
