Great hotel, my room was small, but the hotel is in the center of town and that worked for me. The waiting staff were great and helpful and stopped for chats as I was travelling/eating on my own.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Taunton. We had a spacious, well-appointed room on the third floor with a nice view of the town. The hotel is an older building with lots of historic details / decor so it has a nice vibe. Daily room service kept everything clean and fresh and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is amazing: steps from the high street shops, cafes and pubs - you can't beat it. We'd definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again next time were in Taunton.

Overpriced. Noisy room with outdated bathroom and an average breakfast. At over £200 per night it should be a lot better.

Lovely building. Rooms clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was filling - lots of choice and well cooked. Only negative would be that soundproofing isn’t the best in the rooms.

Great stay, my room was lovely, staff were friendly and breakfast was really good quality. There is a pub directly opposite and my room faced it so there was a bit of noise and not quite as peaceful as I was hoping. No air con in the rooms probably due to the age but the fan provided was of good quality. Beds really comfy and I got a good nights sleep. Would reccommend
