「Very friendly country inn in quiet location and very convenient to explore the North Yorkshire Moors area. Rooms were very clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good. All staff were friendly.」

No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space.」

The small tea/coffee station with some breakfast options included in the room was the bit the bowled me over… a treat at 6am, cereal & fruit, new milk & yogurt, plus proper coffee bags, even a tray to carry it to the table.
