"The room appeared clean, but the overall feel was very sterile and minimal. The bedding consisted of a very thin blanket and the pillows were extremely flat (two stacked together were about the size of one normal pillow). Unfortunately, there was also hair embedded in the washcloth that clearly did not belong to me, which made me question how thoroughly linens were checked.
The kitchenette area was also disappointing because there were no dishes, utensils, or flatware available in the room. The TV had a constant floating “HD” message that stayed on the screen the entire time, which was distracting while watching.
One of the bigger inconveniences was the ice situation. There is only one ice machine in the entire building, located in the lobby, and it was not working during our stay. Staff referenced the ice machine at check-in but did not appear to know that it was out of service, which meant no guests could get ice.
Parking was also limited. By the time we returned in the evening, the lot was full and my husband had to park in the far back area behind the building.
Overall the stay was manageable for a short visit, but a few small improvements in amenities, maintenance awareness, and parking would make a big difference in guest experience."
