「Lovely old hotel in Kelso. Comfortable room with good facilities. A little tired in places, but perfectly acceptable for us. Great staff team, friendly and helpful, and a wonderful breakfast to set you up for the day」
「Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. 」
「Our stay was amazing from start to finish. I was kept updated with information regading all aspects including check-in protocol, wifi details and breakfast timetables.
Our only interaction with staff personally, was at breakfast, which was delicious.
We had a great conversation with one of the staff who gave us some fantastic advice and information in preparation for our visit to Edinburgh later that day.

Food choice was good. Downside the amount of curry my wife had could of been more plentiful. My teriyaki fish needed more seasoning, I don't usually add salt or pepper to meals but in this case had to.
Saying that my 2 friends steak and linguine was apparently lovely. The full English was exceptionally good and plentiful
