「Was on a solo motorcycle tour. Likes; very convenient to “Mayberry” touristy locations, lol, hot breakfast was good, staff are very responsive ( had a moth fly in, couldn’t reach it, they sent a staff member, catch and release, lol). 「Everything was really nice at this Hampton Inn. It was clean, well decorated, and quiet. The continental breakfast was excellent and well stocked. We even had an opportunity to use the pool which was well maintained. I also appreciate the 11 AM checkout time. It's not always easy getting a party of 4 cleaned up, packed up, and out the door with an early checkout time. We didn't feel rushed which was really nice. 」

「Such a wonderful, relaxing, and beautiful location. We drove up from Florida for a wedding near Pilot Mountain, and we're so glad we chose "A Mighty Oak" for our stay. Todd kindly offered to take us for a mini tour of the farm to see the cows, chickens and pigs. Our daughter fell in love with "Heart" (the special cow with a unique marking on her face; you'll just have to visit them to see where her name comes from). Our morning walks were fun and refreshing, as we enjoyed the slightly cooler...
