「Our phone didn’t work and we couldn’t raise the blinds in our room. When we told the staff they told us to use our cell phones and maintenance would take care of it tomorrow and offered to move us to a room on the fourth floor while the elevator wasn’t working. They didn’t know there is a remote to raise the blinds. We found out when we checked out.」

「The Surry in is a nice place to stay overnight on our trips from PA to Florida. Everything is older but clean and everything worked.」

「Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. 「The property was a great choice. Although it is in the middle of nowhere, I’d travel just to stay back at this property. It was very clean, like very clean from entering on the property, inside lobby, fitness center and my room. I loved the wine bar that was inside the hotel lobby, the breakfast had great options and my room was comfortable besides me not knowing hours to close the main curtains to block out the street light which was directly in front of my room.
