「Our room was on the first floor, above the pub. You can probably imagine how busy it can get at night. We can clearly hear everything from downstairs which make us cannot sleep. The whole building is old 」

「Arrived close to closing time and was warmly greeted by publcan, staff and pub regilars. Felt safe and was well fed at breakfast time. Nice to hear other guests talking about their intended visitsof the day. Publican helpful with my additional enquiries and offered suggestions of taxis to get to and from a venue.. Lovely lunch eaten after checking out. Beer Garden well looked after and village was nice to wander around with further walks suggested, if required. The place is cared for. Would go...

「Friendly staff and lovely food.. maybe one of the best steaks ever tasted. Room was large and well equipped. Over looked the beer garden but no noise after 10 so that was fine. Small car park to the rear but ample for the guests. Hoping to stay here again. 」

「Loved the hotel and restaurant, such a beautiful building and rooms, outside lovely too, with croquet, giant chess and hoopla. Food was very nice, we had evening meal and breakfast. Staff friendly and attentive too. We’re definitely coming back. Fab location.」
