「This is a charming B&B. It is a gem in a lovely rural mountain setting. The proprietors are warm and welcoming. Breakfast is served in the dining room and not to be missed! We really enjoyed our stay!」

「Booking was effortless through Expedia. We were greeted at the door by Pat, the owner. He gave us a quick tour and set a combo code to the front door of the house of our choosing. There is an open snack and coffee area, and "trail magic" shelf full of items that a hiker might need without a store nearby. The shared bathroom was WELL stocked. 「The first room I was placed in smelled like death and despair and was put in another room that looked like more people spent time trying to break out of than break in. The bed was like laying on a gravel parking lot. 」

「The only issue we had was the weird loud noises all night long. The AC unit sounded like it was dying and there was some weird noise outside the room that happened all night long that sounded like a damn wind tunnel. Otherwise the hotel was fine. 」

「I loved my stay at The 1850. It was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were some really sweet, personal touches. It's right downtown Boone so it's easy to walk to everything. Daniel and the Dog is a great little bar with delicious food too. The staff was responsive and parking was easy. I look forward to staying there again! 」

「The room was immaculate clean. They don't have carpet which makes it look and feel spotless. The suite was laid out well and had a ton of space for my family of 5. Beds were comfortable, kitchenette was well stocked, shower was great. Everything about the room was perfect. It's probably the best room We've ever stayed in. Breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. 10/10 would recommend and stay again. 」

「Terrible breakfast. There is no breakfast buffet, their online description is highly deceptive and misleading. There was some lukewarm coffee, a few dry bagels, muffins and toast. No eggs, no links, no bacon… nothing warm. Then the manager had the audacity to tell me that I didn’t even qualify for any breakfast since I didn’t book directly with the hotel. Expedia members don’t count. I also qualified as a VIP guest which they ALSO didn’t honor (no free beverage). Small stuff like that ruins your...
