"I took the train from the San Francisco Bay Area down to Santa Barbara for a getaway trip. Totally Spurt of the moment. I was delighted to stumble upon this hotel. It was so comfortable had such a nice vibe. Warm welcoming service. I'm enjoying the 'French country chic' ( with the Spanish twist:-) decor. I will definitely return here!"

"Clean large double room on 2nd floor with nice view of the beach across the street. Staff helped with our tv when we could not connect it to the network. Small but clean pool and hot tub. Small but expected complimentary continental breakfast. Wine, crackers and cheese were a nice little touch for happy hour when we checked in, nothing too fancy. We used the complementary 2 hour bike rental from a shop a couple blocks away."
