When we asked the maintenance crew to give us five minutes to get out of the room, the cart was outside our door so we assumed that they would return and change the towels. They did not. The gentleman who checked me in was lovely; however, there was no one in the office when we checked out.」

「Beware, The Brooks Motel is a misrepresented, virtual-only motel that doesn't warn it has no front desk or in-person check-in. This concept only works if the tech and the people behind it work, They didn'.  Upon arrival, I had to call, what sounded like, an overseas call center, find a random Expedia email, and fill out an online form. Then I waited 15 minutes for a room code that never arrived. After calling back, the agent's emails failed to reach my email, so she had to text me the info....
