I thought the hotel and rooms were lovely. Staff was very attentive. My only complaint would be to have a bigger and better gym facitity. There really was only room for one two people max in the weight area.

Hotel was clean and modern, with everything you need for an overnight stay. The personal highlight of our overnight stay was the bed - the king room bed was so comfy, I even asked for the mattress details upon check out! The Lavazza coffee/coffee maker made the best cup of in room coffee I have had. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating (from the front desk to the restaurant). Free parking across the street from the hotel, and we were able to store our bikes in a storage room behind reception. Also a few good pubs and restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend!

The property is very nice and close to a lot of restaurants and the Waterville Opera house. The inhouse restaurant is quite pricey though and they do not offer a complimentary breakfast. They would benefit from using a refillable bottle of hand soap rather than a bar of soap. We only stayed for one night and had to open the boxed bar soap and was sad that it would then be thrown away only after a few uses.

Lobby was beautiful, restaurant was nice, staff were kind. A bit expensive for the actual room, don’t think it’s worth $420 for the location. Also didn’t love the mildew in the shower. It overall the bed was comfy and everything else appeared clean

The Lockwood Hotel is a beautiful hotel which is well located in the center of old Waterville. It is a pleasant stroll to a number of boutiques and the Two Penny Bridge. The bar and restaurant are very good as well.
