The hotel and breakfast were great. And the restaurant being connected to the hotel was also great and really convenient. I didn't like that the pool couldn't be warmed and that you had to sign in on the wifi repeatedly but besides that, everything was pretty good.

It was a brief overnight stay to catch a flight in the morning. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were extremely wrinkled and didn't smell fresh. Also the room had an odor. The landscape was overgrown. This being said, we did sleep well and enjoyed the restaurant in front.

Blood and hair found on the pillow cases on a ‘fresh’ bed. Ice cube box was visibly dirty. Very dirty floors in all corners and under every piece of furniture. Didn’t feel safe outside around the hotel. Decent breakfast though. Won’t be back.

When I arrived, I had to wait at least 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. I gave the person my identification card, thinking I would be in a room shortly. There was confusion if any room was available. A runner was sent to see if there were rooms that were clean. This took probably 20 minutes. The facility was clean and the breakfast was better than most.

Had over an hour to check in and there was only 4 people ahead of me. No reason it should have taken that long. The bed was so tall that we had to step on our luggage to get into the bed. The hot breakfast was actually cold and what was supposed to be cold was warm.

Understanding that the property is undergoing renovations we entered our floor and the hallway was lined with toilets and boxes. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. Biggest issue is noise. There were guests yelling all evening and a major party happening on the floor above us. I called the front desk after 3 hours of excessive noise and they said they would handle it however the noise and yelling continued until 1:15am. For that reason alone I wont stay here again.

What a wonderful stay we had here! The room was clean and had a nice mural on one wall. Beds were SO comfy! Brand new owners (as of begining of June), staff was attentive and kind. One of the owners, Ahmed went above and beyond providing superior customer service at every interaction. I was in Portland just for one night, after being in NW Maine for 2 weeks dealing with an awful situation. We needed good food and quality rest. Ahmed and other staff recommended wonderful restaurants for meals and nice areas to explore. The weather was in our favor thankfully! Uber is easy to get around anywhere you want. The restaurant right nextdoor has good quality food (totally family friendly) strong drinks, lots of locals and friendly servers. I barely missed the free breakfast because of the wonderful comfy beds, but Ahmed offered to extend for me (I declined as I woke later than I expected and had to go to the airport) Has a nice pool area, was very calm. When I come back to Portland, I know where I'm staying!!
