「We wanted a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we got. We like Hedgesville’s proximity to Berkeley Springs, Harpers Ferry and Winchester, VA. Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us. 「The cabin was immaculately clean and comfortable! We had so much space for our party of five to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The beds were very comfy, and the full, updated kitchen was so useful during our stay as we were in the area for a reunion. We loved the outdoor area, too, and enjoyed spending time talking around the firepit. The homeowners even provided the marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate to make s'mores, which we did! It was a wonderful stay, and we're already talking...

「So I had to book a place big enough for a large family last minute and found this property and let me tell you this property was spacious and breathtaking! Had a everything we needed for a home away from home! The fridge and stove were a dream! The plus was having washer/dryer access, hot tub and a massage chair! Oh and the tower!! The view from the deck was beautiful but from the tower was just amazing! Will definitely be coming back especially once the pool is built!」

「The property is very remote, which is not sufficiently described in the ad. By this I mean NO CELL PHONE service within a 10 mile radius. There is NO WIFI service. Totally unsafe for BIPOC travelers and you will not be able to communicate with the outside world. Not as described at all and no accommoadation for the discrepancy between what is advertised and what is actually there」
