"The staff is super nice but the hotel was disappointing: we cannot hang by the pool, the bathroom was not clean with water everywhere, there was no space to put our things and there was a very disturbing chemical sent sprayed automatically all day and night long. Finally, it was very noisy: we could hear a party, the family living next door and the nearby mosque. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this hotel."

"In fairness before I booked i knew it was 23 miles away from the center but didnt think it was that far...because of the winding roads ir takes about 30 to 35 mins each way to the center of town and the hotel doesnt have a shuttle service. Taxi driver from the airport became my driver the entire time there so it worked out! Staff was super friendly and the restaurant ( Bajo Banana) had some amazing sunsets and good food. "Waicecu Eden Beach Hotel was the perfect escape from the city. The hotel arranges a taxi to pick you up from the airport and then there is two options to reach the hotel #1. Via boat (roundtrip) provided by the hotel. #2. Via road , but you will hike downhill for about 5-10 minutes (would not recommend for people with knee issues. Now option #1 is the easiest, however they do not offer boat services after 6pm due to low tide. So be mindful of your arrival time. Another important thing to note is that the hotel charges you for every time you need to leave the hotel via boat. So if you plan on doing excursions ,visiting the town or other beaches keep that in mind. Now, the actual hotel is a typical Indonesian style hotel. Its beautiful in nature, there is a private beach, water is clean, they have a restaurant on-site, they offer room service, the views are spectacular, there is Ac and wifi. Our room suite had a mini fridge, bed with mosquito nets (we appreciated this), a closet, 2 beds, and the bathroom was in a separate room connected to our outdoor lounging area. It is not luxurious, or remodeled, but it has everything that you need. We stayed for 4 nights and our experience was amazing. The staff was attentive, the food was delicious, the beach was amazing and the views were spectacular. You'll love it! The only thing I wasn't prepared for was the excessive amount of steep stairs throughout the property. I never got used to it. The staff does help with carrying luggage."

"It would have been great had the room been ready upon our arrival. (We were early but expected by the hotel.) Unfortunately I picked up some 'bug' and was running hot. That was compounded by having to wait in the heat for our room. By the time the room was ready, my fever combined with the heat and high humidity resulted in a minor medical emergency for me. The staff were fantastic, and got me to my room where I immediately cooled down and became coherent again. This was absolutely NOT the fault of the hotel, and every worker attended to my needs to ensure I was okay. So kudos to them. However, had the room been ready, this could have been avoided. It was my fault for not recognizing what was happening to me, and then pushing for the room earlier. I'm sure they would have accommodated me, had they known. Once again, the staff were very professional in a situation I (and likely they) had never before experienced. :)"
