"After a very long walk it was a real treat to arrive at the hotel. A pint outside looking at the amazing view was really special. Our room was small but clean, well equipped, comfortable & had a good shower. Everything we needed. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend."

"Hotel / Pub was great location, nice beer garden and decent prices, room was fine and clean, Manager / Owner was very to the point and showed us everything, after hours access through the car park, couple of gripes, a third of the car park is used for free motor home parking and we returned to our vehicle surrounded by motor or homes which were parked tight up, and others manoeuvring extremely close as the area is tight, second gripe, breakfast, food looked great but never got to try it, not enough staff, one guy running around serving, cleaning up and taking orders, waited for 45 mins, having even asked at the bar to take out order I was told he would come but he never came back, so left and went elsewhere for breakfast"

"We traveled all the way from the United States for a very special occasion — our daughter's engagement at Chatsworth House — and The Pilsley Inn made the trip even more memorable. What a find! The rooms were spacious, beautifully charming, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely too, a great way to start each morning. But what really won us over was the location: just a short distance from Chatsworth Estate, which was essential for us since we don't drive in the UK. We actually spent our first few nights at The Cavendish Hotel on the estate itself, which came with high expectations — but honestly, The Pilsley Inn impressed us more, and at a better price point. It had warmth and character that felt genuinely special rather than just luxurious. We've already decided that Chatsworth will become a regular travel destination for our family, and The Pilsley Inn will absolutely be our home base every time. Highly recommend to any Americans visiting this stunning part of the English countryside!"

"Lovely place. Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was a delight sitting outside. The room was clean and meet our needs but very small. For one night while touring it was fine but if staying a few days of all for the largest room they have. Ours might have been an outlier size wise. Otherwise it was a great place. The town is small and quiet and very near Bakewell which has more to see and do. Also near the Chatsworth Estate worth visiting and the Monsal Trail' great for bike rental and walking."

"My wife & I stayed at the Beeley Inn last night, everything about the stay was really good from the check in, the outdoor drinking areas, the dinner and the breakfast. The room was not massive but it was absolutely fine. The staff were always very friendly and polite. Definitely worth another trip. The breakfast was superb."
