「Lovely bedroom and bathroom. We were very warm and comfortable. Would suggest install a small handrail when going up the two steps into the bathroom would be a great help for the less able bodied. Really enjoyed being there and hope to return. 」

A little longer (and more work) back up the hill. Extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable. Easy to get to local estates and attractions. If renting a car, get the smallest you can as the streets in and around Bakewell are very narrow. Would rent again!」

「The room was spacious and attractive. The hotel overall is very well cared for and the staff seem to be very happy to work there - they are extremely helpful and friendly. The highlight of our stay was the truly delicious dinner we enjoyed - a very memorable, high-quality meal. The heating in our room was domestic style radiators and it was tricky to get the room temperature right, this was a minor detail.」
