「The property is old and tired. Check-in was meh, checkout was worse—clerk was sleeping in front lobby chair, didn’t apologize for the issues I encountered. My first mistake was not realizing this was a motor inn vs. a hotel. However I needed a dry place to sleep—that was a 10/10. 「The surrounding area looks economically depressed and we had some initial concerns about safety. Check in was easy. We were provided with two keys for the front door and room door. The house is well maintained and in keeping with original design. We stayed in the wine and roses room which is next door to the kitchen.
