「It was a really nice place. In our case there was no one else there so we were able to hang out in the main downstairs area which was pretty nice. The staff we needed help from were very responsive as well. I honestly would recommend staying here as the views from the front porch at night and during sunset are amazing!」

「The only reason that I didn't give them four stars is that there was so much light on the front of the building that you could not sit on the chairs and see any stars. I assumed that a place called dark skies would have lights that are motion sensored or more dim so that you could take in the night sky, so we walked about a block down the road to see the stars. 「If you pay by debit card they WILL charge you $100 on top of what you are paying to Expedia that was not mentioned on Expedia nor did they tell my husband when we checked in. Old motel trying to fix up. Bed was old and low to the ground, pillows were horrible, make sure you close the bathroom door if the curtains are open or everyone will see you. Check the coffee maker before using, ours was filthy and the refrigerator made a horrible noise. Every room has a triangle cut out of the door, so...

Located at the base of the Sawatch Mountain Range, this charming inn is home to a small herd of friendly goats, a seriously fantastic breakfast spread and the absolutely most comfortable beds. We feel lucky to have found this incredible place and made sure to purchase their delectable homemade goats milk yogurt (10/10 recommend.) My husband and I cannot wait to stay again!! 」
