「Visited Four Seasons Vilamoura with my partner over the last week or so but this was actually my 10th time visiting the hotel (though my partner's first!) Four Seasons is an absolutely stunning hotel and, as the title suggests, is a true home away from home without being a cliché. The staff are all so polite and professional from check-in to check-out and everything in between and their English is impeccable. Breakfast buffet has a good selection of hot and cold options, tea, coffee, juices...

「The drawback is if it’s rainy day, you won’t have much hot water for shower. The first night when we arrived at hotel was a rainy day so we barely had a hot shower. The host was super nice and will offer free breakfast. 」

「Hotel is very nice and comfortable. Bed is great. Bathroom spacious and clean. Only issue was the functioning of the controls in sink and shower. It is not intuitive. Took me forever to figure out the shower. Also we learned that Portugal hotels require your passport info. Faro also wanted 2€ each person in cash for City Tax. Expedia should add this to the room cost. 」

「Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.」
