「Hotel is very nice and comfortable. Bed is great. Bathroom spacious and clean. Only issue was the functioning of the controls in sink and shower. It is not intuitive. Took me forever to figure out the shower. Also we learned that Portugal hotels require your passport info. Faro also wanted 2€ each person in cash for City Tax. Expedia should add this to the room cost. 」

「 Les plus :Liberté totale de mouvement dans l'hôtel. Propreté, discrétion et gentillesse du personnel et enfin super petit-déjeuner. Très bien placé pour visiter l'Algarve. Garage souterrain très apprécié. Le moins : la vue sur le bâtiment vétuste squatté par les pigeons de notre chambre. 」

「The drawback is if it’s rainy day, you won’t have much hot water for shower. The first night when we arrived at hotel was a rainy day so we barely had a hot shower. The host was super nice and will offer free breakfast. 」

「We absolutely loved our stay at Roots Hotel! Great location in Faro. Walking distance to train and bus stations. Short walk to the town. Spotlessly clean hotel with cooking facilities in the rooms. Little Pool to cool off in, great complimentary coffee in the dining area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would return if visiting Faro in the future!」

「Property is secluded and beautiful, very new and very quiet. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and the room and property are spotlessly clean. Staff was attentive and helpful. The only drawback was in-room AC - it didn’t seem to be working, even after we complained and had it checked. It was a bit muggy in the room given it was Portugal in July.
