"Good location for visit to Cathedral in centre of Canterbury next to shopping centre. Parking in multi storey nearby arranged through hotel. Good breakfast but no main restaurant- just rooftop bar with limited menu but plenty of places around to eat. Staff all helpful. Enjoyed our stay"
"I was a little worried after reading some of the bad reviews, but overall, we had a good experience. Having read the comments about noise, I specifically requested quiet rooms, preferably on a higher floor, at the rear of the hotel, or away from the gym and lift. The hotel responded very quickly and kindly assigned us rooms 216 and 217. The rooms were nice and clean, and we had no complaints. However, later in the evening, we noticed there were pubs and parking areas directly outside our windows. It was Sunday night, but there were still people drinking outside. Fortunately, we couldn’t hear much from the rooms, although we could hear some voices echoing in the bathroom. The people outside had gone before 1am, and as I usually stay up late, they didn’t disturb my sleep. However, if you are particularly sensitive to noise, I would recommend avoiding these rooms. I think the hotel should also be aware of this when allocating rooms.
Continental breakfast was included in our stay. There wasn’t a huge choice, but my sons ordered the cooked breakfast for an additional £10 each, which looked good. Unfortunately, it took quite a long time to arrive, and we had to rush to our first booked visit. We allowed one hour for breakfast, but that wasn’t enough.
It sounds like I’m complaining but honestly, I’m not! The location was good, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and nothing seriously wrong with our stay. Overall, we were happy with our choice of hotel for visiting Canterbury."
"We had a lovely one-night stay at Broome Park Hotel with our little dog before catching the ferry from Dover. It’s a beautiful hotel in a very convenient location, with stunning grounds that are perfect for an early evening walk. All the staff we encountered were incredibly welcoming and friendly.
The only very minor downside was the housekeeping. There was some tea-stained paper left underneath the tea and coffee-making facilities, along with a soggy olive stone, which was a little disappointing in an otherwise lovely room.
Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Broome Park."

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is very convenient, ideally located when travelling to France. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was nice and available very early. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!"
"We only stayed for 2 nights but it couldn't have been better. Staff were excellent especially at breakfast, the room was impeccable I couldn't believe the size of the shower it was massive. I came with my sister so had a twin room and it was the first time we have ever had a 4ft bed each. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be coming back again, thank you Hampton. The centre of town was a five minutes walk away and the train station was across the road, ideal."
"The room was lovely and clean, with good air con! Staff were mostly excellent, just the staff member at the desk on our last day was quite distracted and not as friendly when we were collecting our bags. Excellent choice for a staycation, with lots to see within walking distance."
