「Great cottage style accommodation. Kitchen/dinner, living room with a sofa the turns into two separate single beds, bathroom with powerful shower and comfy double bed on upper floor. Tv in living room and kitchen. Great for our family of four with two teen kids. Will visit again!」

「Hotel staff were helpful, rooms were clean, nice experience overall 」

「Check-in process at the Pub opposite the accommodation block was easy and straightforward. The staff were really friendly. The location was good - really close to a shopping centre if that's your thing.」

「Lovely, comfortable stay. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent.」

「Clean room and breakfast」

「Great, modern hotel. Favreau room and location. Right in the heart of the Old Town. Check in and keys are all online via an app. First time, I use a staff less hotel but it was all very smooth. Highly recommended」

「Staff were wonderful as was the room and the food available in the restaurant. Only disadvantage was the lack of car parking but that still wouldn’t put us off returning.」

「I loved my stay at The Beetroot. Michael was really helpful, and lovely to meet; he also gave me an early check-in which was great. Sam who was doing work around the car park was also really nice and really helpful. The room itself was perfect - comfortable bed, great selection of teas and I loved the decor of the bathroom. The location was perfect, too - so close walking distance to everything: restaurants, cafes, the beach, and all the tourist attractions. I only wish I could have stayed...

「Great stay - convenient location just a short walk from the high st and attached to a fabulous restaurant. We stayed on the top floor - great room but a bit tricky for anyone who is less mobile or quite tall. Really great friendly service from the staff from start to finish.」

「Great value traditional B&B. Spotless room and comfy bed. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was decent - fresh coffee was amazing! Have already booked another stay!」

「Clean room and not far from city and station & beach」

「Liked - location, helpful staffs, size of room and parking Dislike - building a bit dated and need renovation, room very basic but clean, room advertised as having a balcony, but this was a Juliet balcony as there was no room to sit outside. The hotel is dog friendly, but we had to move table at breakfast given there were several dogs at the next table making a bit of noise and hairs all over carpet, perhaps people with dogs should have separate seating given there is enough space. The...
