"The Hotel is excellent, rooms were lovely, apart from no tea or coffee making facilities which is a minor gripe but as we arrived late, had our meal, there were no hot drinks available! Even so I would still highly recommend to anyone visiting the area."

"Absolutely wonderful stay here. The bed was very comfortable and my wife and I slept amazing. The staff was kind and welcoming, the property was beautiful and the spa was great. The breakfast every day was really good and the hotel was in a great location. Not a single bad thing to say. I would for sure stay here again if we are ever back in the area."

Staff was all friendly and helpful, room was lovely and had all the necessities and the breakfast was healthy and delicious. I have no complaints, only good memories."

"We loved the location of this place with the bus stop right outside. The apartment was very cute and had most everything we needed. The only complaint is we stayed in apartment 1, facing the next door farm. The manure smell was overwhelming, and since it was warm, we had to have the windows open. This is certainly no fault of Pension Ballwein but future visitors should be made aware of this. We still loved the place, this was just an unfortunate situation."

"The property is in a really good location, if you don't have a car it's very easy to get to Salzburg as you can take the bus and it's only about 20mins to the centre and about 30mins from the train station. The scenery around the hotel is lovely and it's very relaxing to sit outside and have some food/drinks. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. My only minor point is that they don't charge you the tourist tax when you check-in, but when you check out and as there was no recpetion staff around when I needed to leave and I couldn't wait any longer than I already had, so they contacted me after to request that I email them my credit card details so they could take the payment for the 4 Euros. I was a bit concerned about that, but it seems to have been ok."
