The hotel was quiet and in a pleasant area, however very convenient for public transport. Breakfast was amazing and all the staff were very helpful and friendly, put us at our ease straight away. The rooms were well appointed too, overall I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

We had the most wonderful experience at Hotel Rosenvilla, starting from the moment we checked in. It was a quaint hotel, with more amenities and services to make your stay enjoyable than most hotels. They’ve really thought of everything! Wine and snacks self service cart, a high quality breakfast, and free transportation passes for guests. Parking was easy, most rooms have balcony’s with views of the mountains. And to top it off the hotel staff was so helpful and kind; they always wanted to help, said good morning and were quick to provide recommendations. It felt like we were part of the family. Was already regretting not staying longer the moment we left. The hotel itself is not in old town, but if you like a walk, it’s enjoyable. Would recommend highly!

Quaint hotel in a residential area

Quaint hotel, feels like visiting your family in a beautiful house. I have to thank Christopher and Junior for their friendly and courteous service. Location is wonderful in the middle of a very quiet residential area, not far from the center (takes like 10 minutes by Bus). The bus stop is only half a block away. There is a Chinese restaurant in the corner and a gas station less than a block away with a little shop.

Ich war Mitte Mai 2025 für 1 Übernachtung in der ROSENVILLA. Das Anmeldeprocedere mit dem jungen Herrn war ein wenig unbeholfen holprig, aber alles Andere dann sehr schön. Mein Zimmer war geräumig, alles sehr sauber, die große Matraze super angenehm und das Umfeld draußen sehr ruhig. Ich konnte entspannt mit geöffneter Balkontür schlafen. Das Frühstücksbuffet am nächsten Morgen war wirklich einzigartig. Ich habe rein gar nichts vermisst, okay evtl. ein Glas Prosecco, wie ich es sonst kenne, aber an der Speisenauswahl und der Liebe für´s Detail war ich wirklich begeistert. Auch der Service des jungen Mannes und der jungen Dame beim Frühstück, die sich reizend um die Gäste bemühten, war einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Einen weiteren Aufenthalt in der ROSENVILLA kann ich mir gut vorstellen.

Ich komme leider erst jetzt dazu das Hotel zu bewerten: Ein nettes, sympathisches Hotel, etwas außerhalb des Salzburger Zentrums, daher sehr ruhig. Es ist aber nicht sehr weit in die Innenstadt. Leider kein Lift, aber ein sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Mir wurde z.B. der schwere Koffer in den zweiten Stock getragen. Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Haus. Sensationell gut war auch das äußerst reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet. Das alles hat natürlich seinen Preis. Aber angesichts des super Services ist dieser - vor allem für Salzburger Verhältnisse - annehmbar. Falls ich wieder einmal in Salzburg ein Zimmer brauche, steht bei mir die "Rosenvilla" ganz oben auf der Liste! LG Wolfgang Kriechbaum

wunderbares Kleinod in Salzburg

Das Hotel Rosenvilla ist ein wunderschönes Kleinod in Salzburg. Zentrum/Altstadt durch einen Park in ca 15 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, hübscher kleiner Garten, herrliche Terrasse und ein grandioses Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen lässt! Wir haben das letzte verfügbare Doppelzimmer buchen können, das etwas klein ist, deshalb für uns bei Komfort nur 4 Sterne. Es gibt andere schöne, größere Zimmer, auch mit Balkon, d.h. das nächste Mal einfach früher buchen! Aber es war für die Tage absolut ausreichend.

Bei Expedia war angegeben, dass die Exclusive-Suite ein separates Schlafzimmer hat. Das ist nicht der Fall, was unseren Urlaubgenuss stark beeinträchtigte. Auf der Internetseite des Hotels ist das nicht so beschrieben. Das eigentliche Zimmer ist durch eine Regalwand vom Bad getrennt. Das Bad ist also offen, es gibt aber eine separate Toilette. Die Armaturen im Bad sind nach dem Motto "Design schlägt Funktionalität" eher nett anzusehen, aber unpraktisch in der Bedienung. Der Service war sehr gut ebenso das Frühstück. Zum Bus sind es ca. 2 Minuten. Man kann aber auch sehr gut an der Salzach entlang in die Innenstadt laufen (ca. 20 Minuten).

Tolles nettes kleines Hotel

Das Hotel liegt ausserhalb von Salzburg, wobei es ziemlich einfach ist von A nach B zu kommen da direkt vor dem Haus eine Bushaltestelle ist. Frühstück grandios. Brunch wird von aussenstehenden Personen auch angenommen Samstag und Sonntag von 10.30 - ? Kommen sicher wieder
