"Ranch stay with excellent service"

"Fabulous over night stay in one of the wagons - what a great idea to us them. Set up was excellent. The bed was beyond comfortable!! So fabulous. Kids LOVED the bunk beds and the little touch of bottles of water was much appreciated. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was excellent if a little costly!! But that’s to be expected I guess. "Professional & pleasant staff for the activities"

"I loved the Western/ranch atmosphere. For me, it was perfect. There were no TVs, and the lodge rooms couldn't be locked from the outside...no key! It made you feel like you were part of a big family. The food was excellent. We met people from all over the world. We didn't ride horses, but took a UTV tour and did some shooting. The wranglers were very helpful, and it was so interesting learning about their way of life. Note: Check the schedule. Not every activity is offered every day."

"We had a lovely stay at Cougar Ridge. It is a comfortable and quiet retreat. Its location is convenient to town as well as Capitol Reef. We hope we can visit again."

"Although the low stars we did enjoy our time. The property is in dire need of renovations and repairs. It is far from any nearby shops or food options which before we came we were aware of this and stocked up on groceries before coming. We arrived at night and it was very hard to find with no clear signs. Eventually found the reception and then was given a map to find our accommodation.
