"Clean but a little dated rooms, friendly and helpful staff"

"I travel to the Boston area about once every six weeks and, as a former South Shore resident, enjoy staying at this hotel. It's clean, comfortable, and safe, with a nice (and free) breakfast buffet. The front-desk staff in particular are professional and friendly, and greet me by name. I also appreciate the free parking, easy access to the highway, and proximity of several good restaurants. "

"The location is great. The room was clean and quiet. The WiFi was not so great and didn’t work well and would shut off. The spa really is just a steam room. The pool is more so to exercise rather than to relax. There are no loungers to put your feet up and the pool water is very cold. Wish there was a jacuzzi but seems to be a rare amenity to find in Boston. "

"There is a church providing meals to the homeless across the street- I stayed to be able to walk to the convention center but the street had people on it at all hours of the day and night who were struggling with their mental health and I did not feel safe as a woman with my children walking on the street. Please be aware as I saw no other reviews that mentioned this. The hotel itself is fine and if you valet and get in your car and leave it’s ok. "
