Hotel Tybee

Hotel Tybee

8/10 Good
"I had a pleasant stay overall, but I wanted to share some constructive feedback regarding the value. The staff was wonderful, and the property has a lot of charm. However, the rooms and facilities are feeling quite dated and are in need of some refreshing to truly match the premium rates. While I appreciate the hospitality, the current price point feels a bit high for the worn condition of the furnishings. With a few renovations, this place would be fantastic, but for now, it feels slightly overpriced."

DeSoto Beach Hotel

DeSoto Beach Hotel

8/10 Good
"Unfortunately the beach access was not available because of erosion on the way down to the beach but not any fault of the hotel. We had to access the beach a block down the road. Breakfast was above average but the coffee was good. I would rate 4 out of 5 for the price paid and amenities. Keep in mind, the Tybee Island is a tourist destination and will never be reasonably priced during tourist season.. still a good place to stay."

"I have stayed at this hotel many times. It is an older hotel that honestly needs a bit of work. Parking is tricky, especially if you drive a larger car or truck. The rooms are fair, but could use better cleaning, especially the floors. The main attraction for this hotel is that it is centrally located to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Everything we need is well within walking distance so I don't have to move my car."
