「We love this spot. Came here pre kid 15 ish years ago and returned with our 9 year old. There is a new building but the vibe is the same. Walkable uphill and downhill to restaurants but certainly stay and try the onsite at Sloth. The food was lovely. 」

Food was so good and had a special every night that we ate there both nights.The owner himself introduced himself and extended his appreciation. 「A great place to stay! The view from the balcony was the highlight, the ocean and surroundings were exceptional! The property has well maintained gardens and wild life abound-far more than what we saw on the park tour! Capuchin and squirrel monkeys were regular visitors, including howler monkeys, toucans and a sloth in the nearby trees! The villa itself was well equipped, but could use updating. William, the host, was welcoming, kind and helpful.」

「This is a unique property if you are looking for something different. Each room is a separate "igloo" so it is very quiet. The grounds are very pretty and quaint. The lobby/restaurant are one space which create a very homy atmosphere. The food was excellent and the bartender was fantastic. The only thing missing in the room was a microwave but the space is limited. There is a mini fridge which is nice. The walk down to the beach is flat and easy.
