This place was great - the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the food and drinks were wonderful. From our balcony, we saw moneys, McCaws, and other stunning birds while experiencing stunning sunsets. I highly recommend, I will be back!

We really enjoyed the stay. The only thing I would like to mention that even when the breakfast says “continental”, the proteins were charged. Somehow I didn’t expect that. Apart from that, everything was excellent. Location is excellent with a super market across the street. Lot of restaurants around.

Some photos show a remodeled room… ours was not. Not the bathroom anyway Also patio did not have screen door. Housekeeping kept the room clean but little inconsistent with what they would replace. Amenities included the infinity pool and hot tub. There’s access to breakfast and drinks in a full menu. Breakfast is not included but available. there is soap and shampoo, pool towels you can check out. For the most part, everybody was friendly, some more helpful than others. I would say I recommend but that’s only because nothing is inexpensive in Manuel Antonio that has this view and an infinity pool. Overall, the area is just incredibly expensive, especially given the lack of modern updates that being said 18 and up it’s a fun time.

It was easy to relax here. Besides being very quiet, the view from our room and from the pool was gorgeous. We would definitely come back here if visiting Manuel Antonio and the central Pacific coast.

Fantastic view, convenient location, fair price and friendly staff. Ask questions about your room before booking. They have a variety of designs that might be more to your liking. Ours was adequate but not up to the standards we normally prefer. The price we paid was appropriate for what we got. But ... resort needs maintenance and upgrades. Our room lacked basic amenities like a coffee maker or microwave. Door lock was turn of the century brass. Restaurant was understaffed, often lacked ingredients and was 20% overpriced compared to local venues. The included breakfast is more of an appetizer than a hardy meal. Plumbing was poor and tile was dangerously slippery when wet. Pipes made weird gurgling noises at night. Stone steps down were a challenge for seniors. No elevator or ramp. Ask for a top level room if you have mobility issues. Nice pools and Jacuzzis. Overall, a great value for the breathtaking ocean view. If you're tolerant of 3rd world plumbing and eat off site more you'll appreciate Villa Roca.

The property is lovely and the views are spectacular. The “continental breakfast” leaves much to be desired, so when you think breakfast is included, most order from a paid menu. Also, don’t pay any attention to websites leading you to believe this is an LGBTQ resort. That's in it’s past.

Property has a great view, but is in need of maintenance. Two of the hot tubs were out of service and the remaining one was only partially functional. The pool was not fully filled and missing tiles. The room balcony door didn’t latch, so we weren’t able to lock it. The room was dated and and was poorly finished (messy paint, partially updated shower, small TV). Be aware that the rooms also require walking up and down several flights of stairs to get to with no elevator access. However the staff was helpful in booking local tours.

From the pictures and the feedback we expected much more. We get room with a beautiful view as the picture and the pool look like in the picture. But that’s it, the room is very small, no place to open 2 suitcase (and you need when you travel), no windows or vanta in the bathroom so it’s always wet. The air conditioner is leaking water on the table so not recommend to place your important stuff. Minor issue is when you go to the pool, mostly the don’t have available clean towels, wait for laundry or bring your own. Cleaning service was good.
