"Beautiful resort. Housekeeping staff and hostess (Winnie) were so helpful and nice. Van driver Jeremy was wonderful. A few things to note…. The breakfast that is part of Expedia deal is exactly the same every day. You cannot get credit or substitutions. You can get water, or juice or coffee. Same fruit, same pastries all 7 days. We were disappointed. We ate breakfast at the WE restaurant and the restaurant manager seemed like she did not want to be there. No sense of service…On her phone most of the time, arguing in a loud voice right by the pool while we were trying to relax… it made us uncomfortable. It felt like we were not really guests. I hated asking for anything. Very difficult to get fresh beach towels every day. I had to hunt down either security guard outside the gate or housekeeping to get new towels. Not convenient and I felt like I was bothering the staff. It became a bit of a joke with our family to see how long it would take me to find new towels every day. Recommend you bring your own towels…. I am not sure I would recommend this resort at this time, while beautiful, they spent more time on landscaping then making sure we were treated like guests (excluding the wonderful housekeeping staff and Winne)"

"Not sure how this got an 8.0 rating on hotels.com. The initial staff member, who was not warm and welcoming, did not give clear directions to my room nor did he appear to really care especially when I came back to the office to clarify. I had to assist other lost guests with direction. If you have any sort of mobility issues, beware! Had to hike 4 flights of stairs to just get to the hotel portion of the property and then had to walk all the way around the building and up another two flights to my room. There are absolutely no amenities - there's a kitchen with dishes but no dish soap, no complimentary coffee, no bikes, no beach chairs. I was appalled when I noticed a contact lens on the floor by the nightstand - I did not bring any contacts with me. Dark Hairballs were waiting for me at the front door when I got back to the room - my hair is not dark. I suspect the cleaning lady used the hand/body bar soap to clean some dishes I used which does not seem safe. The a/c did not work for the first 5 of 8 nights I stayed and when the repair people came, one of the workers asked or water and when I pointed to the sink and glasses, he said he wanted bottled water! Um. I have to pay for that myself, mister, did you not bring a lunchbox to your job??? This location is also fairly isolated. Without bikes, a taxi or car is a must be o Grace Bay where the shops, including groceries, are. The map makes it look much closer but it's not. If I return to TCI, I would not rebook this hotel. "

"My wife and I stayed for 3 nights this week and The Grace Bay Club is AMAZING!!!! We are avid travelers and enjoy staying at very nice resorts. We actually were booked but canceled our reservation and left another luxury hotel that rhymes with Fitz because of horrible service there. I can’t say enough great things about the facility, the amenities, the views and especially the people at the GBC!! If you want the best place to stay in the Turks and Caicos, this is it!! Special shout out to Fitz our concierge and Garth and Andre at the beach bar! The BEST!!"
