"We were not very happy about our stay. The room was fairly clean, but had a funky smell. The bed was loud when you turned on it and not very comfortable. The smoke detector was a brownish yellow (smoke and age) and it was open showing the battery. We won't be staying again. I will say the staff was helpful, pleasant, and very accommodating."

I had the pleasure of staying at the Sewanee Inn with 3 friends, as our daughters stayed on campus overnight and attended a class the next morning. We had a beautiful evening sitting on the back patio by the golf course, with heat lamps that resembled torches adding to the ambiance. The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the dining room with a friendly, accomodating staff and delicious food! I LOVE it that the Inn has bicycles for guests to use , as the "Green lookout" as well...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay in Downtown Huntsville!
We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Downtown Huntsville! The entire hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotless, very nice, and comfortable.
Breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection and everything we needed to start our day!
The location is fantastic! Everything downtown is within walking distance, including restaurants, bars, and local attractions, which made exploring Huntsville...

Super cute small hotel overlooking the historic downtown area. Our room was large and my husband loved the huge shower! We enjoyed a few drinks on the rooftop bar admiring the scenery. One word of caution- this is more of an adult hotel. No pool for the kiddos and the hotel was nice and quiet (we stayed without our kids and thoroughly enjoyed the adult atmosphere!).

Had a good time. Check-in was smooth and staff helped out whenever I needed them.
Room was clean. Toilet is . . . square shaped and reminded me of Minecraft. An interesting shape for a toilet.
I wish the rooms had more toiletries (like q-tips), but I understand that might be expecting too much.
I appreciate the free water bottles at the reception desk.

The best part: The employees both overnight and morning hands down gave the best customer service i have had at a hotel in years. Thank you all for going above and beyond. Awesome shower pressure and temp. The breakfast was really good with lots of options.
Not my favorite parts: The bed was extremely firm and i prefer a softer mattress (not a complaint). The room smelled like someone had recently smoked in it. They offered to switch our room but i wanted the jacuzzi so we kept it.

From the second we walked into the hotel everything was fantastic. The staff was very accommodating, they even let our 10yr old niece pick which floor she wanted. We had 3 people for our room (double queens) but could have EASILY been comfortable with 4.
Everything was very clean. The rooms were updated. Beds were comfortable. I loved that I could Bluetooth my music to the speaker on the night table. The staff was fantastic about recommending restaurants and places to visit.

The only complaint I have is the hotel seemed close to completely booked up and 2 of the 3 elevators were down making it very long waits to get up and down. When we checked in 2 we're working but the next morning only one was. All the other things the hotel had to offer were amazing, we got drinks at the bar, swam and ate breakfast. Will probably book there again
