"The hotel and room was beautiful and very clean although some amenities were not open I assume due to April being the off season. Salt restaurant and the food/bar area at the pool was not open. Was looking forward to at least breakfast in the hotel and nothing was available. Wish this was stated on their web cite. "The room was a good size, making the TV seem small. Even though I booked a room in the Ocean Tower, all I could see was the huge A/C and air filtration units on the top of the Hard Rock building. No view of the ocean or beach. I could see the hotel next door and down a block or two into the city. "We had a great time in LBI! We had stayed at Drifting Sands before but this was the first time with our puppy. It is one thing to have to leave a deposit of $100 for a pet but to be charged $100 is something else. We were also charged a $25 resort fee when it’s off season. Obviously we weren’t going to need beach tags or chairs so why the resort fee? On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and accessible!"
