Terrifying experience — zero security and zero responsibility!
We booked our stay at Harrah’s Atlantic City through Expedia, and it turned into a nightmare.
At 5 AM, someone entered our room on the 32nd floor and stole all the cash and credit cards from the table. The door was closed, but not latched — and we were never warned that this could leave us exposed to theft.
We immediately called security. They arrived with just a scrap of paper, asked us to “write a statement,” and told us “If you want, you can call the police.” That was it. When we asked what would happen next, they said “Corporate will call you.” No apology. No concern. No action.
How did someone even get to the 32nd floor without a key card? In most modern hotels, upper floors require keycard access via elevator. Harrah’s clearly lacks basic security protocols.
We’ve notified Expedia about this serious incident and urge them to reconsider listing this property.
If you value your safety, do NOT stay at Harrah’s Atlantic City. Choose a hotel that actually protects its guests and takes responsibility when something goes wrong.
Harrah’s completely failed us. Never again.
