「Our room was exceptionally clean and bright. The paint was new, or looked new, and it brightened the room considerably. We did have an issue with the toilet after midnight. I went down to the desk, and reported it, and the maintenance man was there at 7:00am the next morning. It worked for a day, and went on the blink again. I reported it again, and the chief engineer showed up. He fixed it for good. Very prompt service. All of the staff were friendly.」

「The hosts, Greg and Linda were just the nicest people! The view from the porch was... a million dollar view! We fell asleep in the hammock swing the first night. The breeze kept it cool and mosquito free. We will definitely be going back.」

「This was our first family trip to the Outer Banks and Shutters on the Banks was a great place to stay. One of the few hotels that still provides daily room cleaning. This meant we had fresh towels and they even vacuumed. The free breakfast and being on the beach was great to have with kids. 「We recently stayed at the Sea Ranch in an oceanfront king room. The room was absolutely spotless and clean. The view was amazing. The bistro was very nice, food was great, staff was amazing at the bistro. The only improvement I can see with that would be more talented entertainment as well as no extra profanity or “sex” remarks while singing. 「The main elevator was out of order and we had to use the stairs. I have low vision and the steps were not marked well. The breakfast area was so hot you could not sit in it. The pool was closed for one of the days we were there. One bright spot was the staff at the front desk.」
