"I recently stayed at the Econo Lodge in Somers Point, New Jersey. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive throughout my visit. The parking area and surrounding grounds were well-lit and secure. My room exceeded expectations in both comfort and cleanliness. I would definitely choose to stay here again."

"I like the cement walls, I could not hear anyone in their rooms. How ever the bathroom door should be a regular door. Not with slats so others can look in. Also the glass sliding door was hard to open and close and the one door was stained white? The king bed could use 4 pillows not 3 new curtains for the glass door would be nice as there’s mold on it. The bathroom was good but there’s a smell that kept setting off my asthma something with the toilet paper roll. Other than that it was good. Bed was nice clean water pressure for shower was really good. "

"Pretty old. Booked a non smoking room but room provided doesn’t look like it is non smoking."

"The entire motel is run down and dirty! The first room we were given had an unassembled AC unit on the floor next to the bed. The second room did not have running water. We went to the office again and were told that there was a pollution problem a few months ago, so just let the water run. We asked for a bottle of water to brush our teeth. They told us they don’t provide water to guests that we could go up the street to a store! We opened the tap when we returned to the room and the water came out in a trickle and it was brown! We booked a nonsmoking room but unfortunately it was connected to a smoking room and the smell came right under the door. We stuffed a towel along the door bottom but it wasn’t much help. The TV remote control literally stuck to your hand! The sheets appeared okay, so we got our own water, spent the night and then left early in the morning to go find somewhere else to shower. Do NOT believe a single review that says anything positive about this place. Everything is misrepresented on the website and the staff is unprofessional and lacking in even the smallest amount of customer service. "

"Check in was very convenient. Room is impeccably cleaned. Beds comfortable. Only complaint is the intermittent air conditioning, which woke us up as the bed is right under. Being able to put it on fan/uninterrupted mode would have been great. Otherwise, nice place and great value. "

"Our first surprise was the $75 PER NIGHT pet cleaning fee. This might have been understandable if they had cleaned our room at all during our stay. We didn't see a soul the entire time. We were all alone in the hotel and surrounding restaurant. Good thing we didn't need clean towels. No services whatsoever. They gave us a key and told us to lock up when we left. Kind of like The Shining. But with waves. "
