「The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The room service young lady was lovely. However that’s all the positives. Negatives. We had already paid an agency but were asked to provide credit card details on a piece of paper, just unsafe as anyone could access it when stored in an office. The staff took umbrage when I pointed out how wrong this was. No details then no stay, we had no option. The small car park was not marked so it was a free for all. Also a space wasted to an old vintage...

「Scarborough Hill Country Inn is a a gem! We were pleased to be offered a room upgrade when we arrived as we had initially booked a small double room and a larger room was available. We were very happy with the room offered - bright, airy, thoughtfully furnished and extremely clean. An extensive range of teas, coffee and hot chocolate were provided in the room along with complementary water. The restaurant was busy, however staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble. 5 stars for the food...

「The room was clean,the stairs were difficult for us but we are in our 80s,the pub is located in a quiet area with easy parking ,both nights we were able to park close by.The breakfasts were well presented with generous helpings.」

「The breakfasts were good, although they weren't included, but it was hard to get an evening meal. The room I stayed in was near the road and boiler/ air conditioning so it was very noisy so I slept very badly. The fire alarm went off early in the morning and we didn't get any information from the staff so didn't know if it was safe to return to our rooms. Although geographically it worked well I wouldn't stay there again.」
