excellent room, friendly staff and lovely food - would definitely recommend and we will return
Fantastic break away and would recommend to friends and family. One barman was rude but the rest of the staff were excellent and very friendly. Couldn’t fault breakfast for choice quality or service. Look forward to staying here again soon
We have a lovely room which was outside the hotel which was great as we had our dog with us.
Our meal restaurant was lovely as was the breakfast , can’t fault a thing!
Very friendly staff & will definitely be back.
Lovely hotel. Room very nice. Food and drinks excellent. Beautifully decorated buildings, perfect balance of luxury yet relaxed. Staff welcoming and friendly. Quiet, relaxing understated good service. Easy access to everywhere by car and short walk to the sea. Highly recommend
Amazing hotel, superb service and I love the lounging areas as the weather outside was miserable. Dinner and breakfast amazing in the most beautiful setting
Fantastic hotel, ideal for a quiet weekend away. We only booked one night, but decided to stay another night. Staff are great, thank you Phoebe and Rosalyn for a lovely welcome. (Reception).
Gorgeous place to stay. Great room and delicious meals...the best breakfast!
Barman on arrival seemed grumpy and unhelpful but maybe he was having a bad day. The rest of the staff were fab!
We had a beautiful 2 night stay here, pretty little village but close to a beautiful shingle beach. Sharon on the front desk was amazing, she offered us an upgrade which made the time very special. Food was amazing too, breakfast kept us going til the mid afternoon! Can highly recommend the veg tagine to share on the evening menu. Ideal spot for exploring the north Norfolk coast.
The Malting has be developed to a very high standard, and is staffed by very competent and polite people. The bar area has a very traditional feel to it with comfortable seating and beautiful surrounds. The restaurant, whist a little expensive delivers quality food however the menu is rather limited. Service is excellent.
Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff couldn’t do more for us, dinner was delicious, breakfast was delicious and such an incredible selection available.
The venue has been done up so mindfully and it’s absolutely beautiful.
The surroundings are quiet but gorgeous. We can’t wait to come back again.
The room was spotless cleanest and most comfortable we’ve ever stayed in ,staff were fantastic very accommodating and friendly

We had a wonderful stay at The Maltings and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
From the moment we arrived, every single member of staff – from reception through to the bar and restaurant teams – was exceptionally friendly, warm and welcoming. The level of service really stood out and nothing was ever too much trouble, which made the whole stay feel relaxed and genuinely special.
The rooms themselves are lovely – warm, inviting and spotlessly clean. The thoughtful touches made a real difference too, with great quality tea and coffee provided, along with some delicious homemade cookies waiting for us on arrival.
The restaurant was equally impressive. The food was exceptional throughout our stay, with an excellent and varied menu that perfectly balanced much-loved favourites such as steak alongside more adventurous and inventive options. Everything we ate was incredible, and the breakfast choices were just as delicious.
A huge bonus for us was how dog-friendly the whole place is. It’s clear that four-legged guests are very welcome, but this is done in such a considered way that it never impacts on the experience of other visitors.
We will definitely be making a repeat visit!
An excellent time. Lovely setting and great having seperate rooms. Allows you to come and go as you please.
Great reception at front desk and really welcoming staff in restaurant and at the bat.
Stayed a couple of days & were in Room 1. Due to the hot weather windows needed to be open thus noise travelled easier & early morning disturbances (Dustmen?) were unwelcome
Food offering was good although the sharing options were a tad pompous & overpriced in our opinion. Breakfast was excellent.
Staff were all friendly & responsive to any requests.
