Very little to do with children under 2 years old. Frankenmuth has much kid friendly water activities.

Blossom Hotel & Suites Traverse City
Clean and quiet. Absolutely no water view-just in case you looked at their pictures on here, and see a picture of water. Look closer than I did, and see that it was most likely taken from a car. Anyways, staff were very nice, breakfast was good with hot waffles. An older hotel but it was clean.

Bayshore Resort
Love this place, clean rooms, great pool and hot tub, very friendly and helpful staff. Close to downtown Traverse City. Very good continental breakfast. Beautiful sandy beach on Grand Traverse Bay,with great views.
