「It was a great place to stay on our way back to Idaho. The location was easy to find and the hotel was excellent. We will be staying again when we travel in Oregon. 」

「Unless I was a foreigner I could hardly understand their language. The HBO was very poor and the TV did not work when we got there we had to have them come up and install something that was not installed. And that's about it other things were kind of okay for a very inexpensive stay other than the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable」

「Great check in at front desk who helped me check in an hour early. Clean, modern and spacious room. Easy walk to trails and into the city. Nice complementary breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel.」

「We really enjoyed our stay at the Lightwell. The spa is amazing, the staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms clean. We also loved that there is a lounge, a rooftop bar, and the hotel is conveniently located. Just be aware that the rooms are smaller than usual and there are no refrigerators in the rooms. But this is our new favorite place to stay in Hood River!」

「I enjoyed both the location and the charm of the Hood River Hotel. As the hotel is over a hundred years old it's layout and amenities brought out feelings in me from a bygone era! The breakfast that I had was delightful with a hearty selection on the menu and it was tasty! Unfortunately, trying to get a morning cup of coffee in my room was impossible as trying to brew a cup was a challenge that 'bested' me! Finally, the broken roller switches on the electric cords to the wall mounted lamps,...

「This place is phenomenal!! The checkin process is seamless and the hosts are very communicative. The location is perfectly walkable and it comes with a parking pass. The rooms are absolutely stunning and one of a kind down to every little detail! We really appreciated the extra touch they added by going above and beyond with amenities like snacks, beverages, and toiletries. I can’t wait to come back!! 」
